Cape Town Office Supports Worthy Causes

In line with Vela VKE’s commitment to involvement in local communities and to social corporate responsibility, the Cape Town office of Vela VKE has recently made several significant contributions to worthy causes in the Western Cape

These have included a substantial donation to Fikelela, an organization which cares for Hiv  orphans and adults in the CAPE TOWN area.

Also benefiting by donations have been GIRLS&BOYS, an organization which has been supporting and helping youth and families in trouble since 1958 and beautiful gate. This christian-based organization was established in 1994 and provides medical, emotional, spiritual and physical care to children in need and their families and communities.

There are also two hard-working charities  which benefit from a monthly donation by the Cape Town office: the Bonteheuwel soup kitchen, which has been receiving assistance since 1997,and the Thembalitsha Foundation, whose motto is “Hope through education, training and healthcare’’.
